  Validation vs Entries

Many questions come up every year regarding cross validation and entries into our show. Here are the differentiations

Cross Validation - the validating of an animal to members of your family. This means that the animal will be eligible to show under any family member it's registered to. It is recommended that families always cross validate within their eligible exhibitors.
*Validation is a state mandated program. TCYS is not responsible for these events.

TCYS Entries - the entry is specific to the exhibitor (not the animal). The exhibitor may show any animal registered to them, but only up to the number of entries they registered for. If an exhibitor decides after entries are due that they would like to show additional animals that are registered to them, they may do so, but there will be a late entry fee required.

NOTE: If an exhibitor is not eligible to show per UIL requirements, their entry is null and void. The entry can not be transferred.
